Surface finishes

Three ways
to feel titanium.

Before anodizing, the titanium surface is brushed, polished, or bead-blasted to achieve the desired luster and shine.

Brushed

A classic that never gets old. A fine directional grain results in a soft satin sheen — understated, with subtle movement in the light.

Polished

Hand-polished to a bright mirror shine. High reflection makes anodized color appear glassy and vivid.

Satin bead-blasted

Glass beads leave an even, matte texture. Color turns muted and velvety, with no glare.

It makes its own color.

Anodizing is an electrochemical process: a precisely controlled voltage grows a transparent oxide layer on the titanium surface, just nanometers thick. That thickness controls the wavelengths of light that are reflect from the Ti, producing vivid, permanent color with zero added material.
