About TiO2 Designs

I've long been a bike nerd and avid cyclist. Several years ago I found myslef the owner of a second-hand Seven Cylces Axiom with a look and ride quality that lead me to develop an affinity for titanium bikes. With worn decals on the Axiom and in search of a fresh look, I discovered the anodizing process, and the brilliant spectrum of colors that can be produced by the thin oxide layer on the surface of titanium. I became fascinated with the potential of titanium anodizing to create unique and customized Ti bikes and components while maintaining the underlying bueaty and luster of the metal. Titanium test tubes were gathered, electrolyte was mixed, voltage was cranked, and TiO2 Designs was formed with the goal of giving riders a custom look for their bike that embodies their style. Since the beginning, not a lot has changed... Still just a fly guy with a love for riding Ti.
